I was just looking for some “top 10″ type blog tools. Here’s some things to consider as you develop your set.

I saw this book at our local libray and wondered what could be so compelling about a book for kitchen knives?

A couple weeks later, I took the book home with me. Wow, this sort of book is way overdue. What a great addition for amateur cooks and others who want to dispel the mysteries of cutting boards, santoku, steel, sharpening, &c, it’s all there and it’s all good!

Also has a great collection of web links including sites mentioned in the book along with videos, and other links to foodie goddesses like Sara Moulton and Lynne Rossetto Kasper.

I remember when I was in Mr McLaughlin’s lit class during 7th grade. We were supposed to analyze/discuss some poetry. My choice was I Am the Walrus. I think the teacher with the long hair listening to me stumble on about the song must have thought it all funny…

Worth a view just to see what it was like back then to scrounge through bins of vinyl looking for that one nugget, that one needle in a haystack.
