Considering I grew up in NJ, I came to their music not as early as I could have. That is, I could’ve attended a number of small shows in the late 70s before fame came. Twenty-five years ago tonight I was in the stands with 15000 others at my second Bruce show. I don’t remember too much from that night and am grateful that unofficial recordings of this show are available.
For some reason, I kept the t-shirt from that show and will share this souvenir with you tonight. The River is my favorite Bruce album and I was grateful to be able to attend two shows from this tour.
