Where have I been for the past few months? Twitter. But I doubt I’ll put a bunch of ads here to generate traffic. I might just take this down. After the hack-in a couple years back my SEO is shall we say, sub-optimal.

The Seeds…among the most under-rated bands of their day. Both way ahead of their time, and the essence of their time. They were both groovy and punk at the same time. What a great sound, the NOW sound in all its splendor. They were, indeed, the NOW sound.

Wow, walking into Patelson’s was like walking into a candy story. So much to choose from. Well-stocked shelves with prices written by hand, with pencil, on the inside front page. It was always a highlight to go there back when I used to take the train into the city.

So sad, like so many other things, a sign of change. Of things no longer the same. It was a really, really, cool place.

I caught a glimpse into what these might sound like but I can’t recall which tune/album. It was something which was recently remastered by George Martin.

Anyway, this upcoming series of releases promises to be a royal mess-in-the-making, to be sure. Not to mention that they don’t know or recognize how to deal with Apple Computer, or any computer for that matter. At least, it’ll be another chance to buy recordings we already own .

When I was a kid my parents bought me the White Album (LP, of course) for an Easter gift one year. Nice. Times certainly have changed!
